Hong Kong Wine Judges Association is a non-profit making organization, intends to promote the wine appreciation culture by conducting wine competitions with constructive review & comment by experts and critics. We have allied a team of professional, experienced wine specialists from different segments of the industry, namely sommelier, winemaker, journalist, educator, lecturer, executive chef and merchant.

Our goal is to maintain close contacts with wine judges locally and from around the world to explore possible collaboration in advancing wine judging standards. The Association will also pay close attention to related developments in Greater China and APEC region and seek out opportunities for collaboration.

We believe a wide range of services may be delivered in form of event competition, advice, guidance and training that can be developed in line with international wine judging practices, to help members progress and grow professionally and eventually become part of the wine judging community.

 

香港葡萄酒評審協會乃一非牟利機構，旨在以大公無私的態度，舉辦葡萄酒品評活動，建立以公平及公正為原則的平台，歸納來自社會各界的葡萄酒愛好者及專家們的意見，協力提升香港及大中華的葡萄酒文化及評審水平，以配合香港政府將香港塑造成為亞洲葡萄酒貿易中心的政策及方向。

 

我們的團隊成員來自業內、外不同領域，包括國際知名品酒師、釀酒師、葡萄酒專欄作家、大學講師、星級總廚及資深酒商，務求從不同角度將意見共融，採立合適的國際葡萄酒評審系統而製訂最具華人特色的專業準則。本會將會與世界各地的葡萄酒文化機構及葡萄酒評論家緊密聯繫，互相交流，亦會緊貼大中華及亞太經合地區的相關發展，尋求合作的機會，進一步提升本地的葡萄酒評審水平，與國際接軌。

 

我們相信憑藉適當的專業指引及系統培訓，必定能夠與國際葡萄酒評審工作同步發展，亦可協助本會會員增進知識及專業地發展，最終成為葡萄酒評審業界精英。
